A Quick Hello And WIAW

So I am officially the worst blogger ever, and I am soooo sorry!! My life has been consumed by pharmacology, physiology, and anatomy. I did not know I would be signing my life away when I got into PA school. Even weekends are made for studying.

If there’s one thing I really missed was all the WIAW fun. I needed to do one for old time’s sake

Peas and Crayons

Link up with Jenn over at Peas and Crayons and post all your yummy treats!

First I’ll start with my favorite meal of the day [BREAKFAST!]

I know it looks odd, but bear with me here… It is chocolate oats covered with protein frosting. Every time  I saw it on Katie’s blog I wanted to try it! It is delicious and a great way to get in protein while still having oats. I previously tried mixing the protein powder into the oats but I didn’t like the taste.

Lunch:

I think it speaks for itself  Surprised smile Delicious down to the last bite!

And for dinner, my favorite!

Sushi!

There’s just something magical about sushi, I could probably eat it everyday if I had the chance

And I have to throw in a pic of Mac because he is just way too cute!

What a creeper cat…..

Hope everyone has been having a great day, I miss you all!! Gotta get back to studying Smile

For lunch my fantastic boyfriend took me out for a lunch date. It was time for Sushi!!!

This is a Jennifer Roll Smile I had to get it lol Crab salad roll with cream cheese topped with salmon

Then there was this

The Dragon Roll! Roll with tempura shrimp, crabmeat, masago, asparagus, spicy mayo topped with avocado

If 2 rolls aren’t enough we also got…

Rainbow Roll. A selection of sashimi and avocado on top of a California roll

If I said it ended there I would be lying….Surprised smile We got one more roll for good luck. A Spider Roll was also consumed and I must say it was my favorite!

Leftovers? Nope, not here.

After sushi we hit the movies to catch Cowboys and Aliens. I wasn’t a fan but Frankie loved it.

Then we stopped by the Daily Plate because Frankie needed some Shwarma seasoning. He got a falafel sammich and 3 extra falafels because I had never had one!!! It was amazeballs

We also got 3 Kibbeh’s. Omgggg so good, I am hooked!!! When I said I ate a lot over the weekend I did not lie lol

Well there you have it!

Peas and CrayonsNothing more exciting than posting your noms and seeing what others are eating too Smile I haven’t posted since my last WIAW so I’ll show you some of my eats and next post I will fill you in on my Femme Fatale weekend…Winking smile

First we have breakki! OIAJ to be exact

See all the peanut butter at the bottom? That is where it’s at!

I had a little lunch date with Frankie at Texas de Brazil where we stuffed our faces with all kind of meat and chicken. We had a fabulous cheesecake for dessert. I kind of forgot take pictures (too busy stuffing my face)

The fun didn’t end there…Someone had a craving for churros…

Omgawwww Surprised smile

This was amazeballs! Churros covered in dulce de leche and tres leche. It was extremely decadent and sweet.

For dinner we decided on a stir fry

Chicken with snap peas, mushrooms, red pepper, cashews and scallops with a honey soy sauce dressing. Yummy!!

Well there you have it bloggies!! Have a fabulous Wednesday!

It’s Another WIAW!

Hi peeps!! It’s Wednesday and you know what that means right? Another great installment of WIAW Smile

If you haven’t linked up with the fabulous Jenn over at Peas and Crayons do it fast and post all your nomtastic eats!

Peas and CrayonsFirst we start the day off with breakki! [aka my favorite meal of the day]

In my little white bowl I made cookie dough cereal courtesy of Gina. I topped it with 1/2 nanner, some nilla yogurt, almond milk, and Kashi Go Crunch! Yummm

This seems to hold me over longer than just cereal but definitely no where near oatmeal!

Lunch was the boyfriend’s new creation

Green bean casserole made with fage, mozzarella cheese, and ketchup. He placed it in the oven until the cheese was all nice and melted. Nom! Alongside was seasoned chicken for protein.

For dinner it was a friend’s birthday so we went to the Cheesecake Factory. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Salad.

Again another picture taken incognito Winking smile

It was pretty tasty, nothing extravagant. I was expecting some cheesecake but everyone was too stuffed….https://i2.wp.com/amy.txoriaskea.org/forum/Smileys/amsn/Sad_smiley.gif

So I made my own little dessert when I got home

Fage with cinnamon, mixed with bloobs, Kashi, Walden Farms Caramel Dip and a dollop of reddi-whip

This little treat hit the spot.

There you have it bloggies! My fabulous WIAW eats.

  • Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, what’s your favorite?!

First July [WIAW]

Hope everyone had a fun filled 4th of July. I got to see lots of these

It was a lot of fun to be with my family and hang out watching the gorgeous fireworks.

Today is another installment of WIAW!

Peas and CrayonsLink up with Jenn over at Peas and Crayons and post your noms

The best meal of the day begins with breakfast!

Cinnamon Burst Cheerios, strawberries, and yogurt drenched in almond milk Smile

Lunch took me back to my childhood

My dad made me a malanga porridge. When I was little or sick my dad would make this for me. It was delicious, I think the butter does the trick Winking smile

Dinner was especially unique! After showing my boyfriend this awesome spiralizer online, he bought one and we made raw zucchini. I’m convinced you don’t need to cook zucchini after I tasted this!

Raw zucchini with grilled chicken topped with pasta sauce and parmesan. Always need a good amount of cheese

I never show my night time desserts because I’m too lazy to photograph at night but what the hell, I’ll show you

This is pretty much a daily ritual. Cottage cheese, yogurt, strawberries, chocolate cheerios, Emerald cocoa roasted almonds, honey, and peanut butter. It was win peeps…Down to the last bite!

Well there you have it. I know you all ate some way tasty treats this past weekend with the holiday and all.

So do tell, what was the best thing you ate all weekend? Smile
