Link up with Jenn and post your eats!

Peas and Crayons

For breakfast I would have…

Ari’s phenomenal Sundae Pancakes W/ Chocolate Sauce

Do these babies not look drool worthy??! Yummoooo

For lunch I wish I had this…

Leanne’s Chicken Marinara Melt

She even has a recipe for homemade fresh marinara sauce. I am loving the pepperoni with all the cheese

As if I wasn’t already having a fabulous day I would have this for dinner…

I love asian inspired dishes and a stir fry is one my all time favorite go to meals.

The day isn’t over without a perfect dessert right? Well I have just the one!

Does this little treat not just make you want to reach into the computer and grab it? I wish I had it right in front of me!

This is Amanda’s No-bake Chocolate Cheesecake Bites

Then there was this

The Dragon Roll! Roll with tempura shrimp, crabmeat, masago, asparagus, spicy mayo topped with avocado

If 2 rolls aren’t enough we also got…

Rainbow Roll. A selection of sashimi and avocado on top of a California roll

If I said it ended there I would be lying….Surprised smile We got one more roll for good luck. A Spider Roll was also consumed and I must say it was my favorite!

Leftovers? Nope, not here.

After sushi we hit the movies to catch Cowboys and Aliens. I wasn’t a fan but Frankie loved it.

Then we stopped by the Daily Plate because Frankie needed some Shwarma seasoning. He got a falafel sammich and 3 extra falafels because I had never had one!!! It was amazeballs

We also got 3 Kibbeh’s. Omgggg so good, I am hooked!!! When I said I ate a lot over the weekend I did not lie lol

Happy Monday!! Hope everyone had a fun weekend with friends and family. I know I did! Let me just say that A LOT of food was consumed in these past 3 days… My stomach is still trying to recuperate  Surprised smile

Sushi Date WIAW

I think Wednesdays have become one of my new favorite days thanks to Jenn over at Peas and Crayons.

Join the party and post your daily eats Smile

I’m not one to gloat but these eats were astonishingly amazing but before we get to all the fun I’ll show you my breakfast!

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this breakfast, it was pretty calorie hefty. Underneath I had 1/2 cup of oats with a spoonful of pb a la Fitnessta cookie dough breakki style with 1/2 chopped nanner and strawberries. Topped with yogurt, Chocolate Cheerios (they were BOGO!!) and almond milk. I used Walden Farms caramel syrup on top

Then came lunch! The boy and I went on a lunch date courtesy of Groupon

I had never been here before and was having some major sushi withdrawals that had to be taken care of asap!

My lovely bf always making picture faces

I was ready to chomp chomp chomp (Pacman style)

Ok to be honest this wasn’t all we ordered for our main course but I too busy eating to take pictures. It happens right?

There was a California Roll, Tuna Roll, and Salmon Roll, all equally amazing. I think the best part was what my boyfriend ordered but since I don’t have a picture I’ll show you one from their website.

This was called a Planet Yakitori and included 1 beef, 2 chicken, 1 chicken boulettes, 1 beef/cheese with miso. This was insanely good and I didn’t even want it in the first place. The one with the cheese was divine and the chicken boulette was a chicken meatball. Yummm

The best part of the meal really was dessert. I have such a sweet tooth.

First up is the Maki Strawberry Nutella

Next we have the Banana Tempura

The perfect way to end the meal. I never had fried banana before and it was definitely an experience I’ll never forget, I felt like Snookie when she had her first fried pickle. It was life changing Winking smile

Well there you have it! Hope my eats were mouthwatering enough for you.

Have you tried banana tempura before or a Maki Nutella? Which looks tastier? I think the banana won my heart over

Doing My First WIAW

I decided to jump on the bandwagon for today and do a WIAW thanks to the lovely Jenn over at Peas and Crayons 🙂

Peas and CrayonsThese aren’t all eats from today but they don’t have to be 😉

For today’s breakfast I had some inspiration from the fabulous Katie and made her Berry Chocolate Chia Pudding Bowl!

I made the mixture overnight and woke up to this

Chia Pudding 🙂

Wow this breakfast did not disappoint!

I can never let a bowl of oats go naked so naturally I added some toppings 😀

Topped with cinnamon raisin pb and Back to Nature Cranberry Pecan Granola. Katie knows how to do breakfast 😉

Today was a workout day so I hit the weights hard

  • Deadlifts
  • Arnold Presses
  • Cable Crunches
  • Leg Raises

I start my new workout on Monday so I’ll post it up then 😀

For lunch I had a ham and cheese wrap with a pickle 🙂

Can you believe I never liked pickles? Back in my McDonalds day I would order a cheeseburger sans pickle. Now I love em. Go figure. It’s the boyfriend’s fault 😉

Dinner was a Chicken Kitchen inspired dish

Grilled chopped chicken over a bed of yellow rice with lettuce and chopped tomatoes. On the side was a dipping sauce made up of olive oil mayo with mustard and curry to add an authentic look  😉 So simple and easy but omg amazing! I can’t take credit for this dish, all the bf’s idea 😀

If you haven’t done your post yet, do a WIAW!!

  • Are pickles a yay or nay?

Post Test Celebration

Thank you all so much for wishing my boyfriend luck on his Medical Boards exam!! He appreciated all the love 🙂 Now we wait 4 weeks for the results but at least one thing is out of the way. Now he has to study for step 2, this never ends 😦

After he finished his 8 hour exam 😮 he picked me up for a little celebrating. We went to Lincoln Road at Miami Beach to enjoy some tasty Chinese food. Miss Yip was our preplanned place and I could not wait to sink my teeth into some amazing egg rolls!

We ordered pork dumplings and spring rolls for our appetizers.

No pic of my spring roll because I kinda ate it too fast lol oops ordered lo mein and fried rice to share 😀

I ate a little more than I planned on but it was amazing!! I haven’t had real Chinese food in years! I savored every bite

If you think the night ended at Chinese then you are mistake friends, we later went to a sports bar to have some drinks 🙂

I ordered an amazing Bahama Mama while the bf ordered a Margarita 😀

This massive bowl of Nachos later followed 😮

(For the record I took no part in the eating of these Nachos ;))

My stomach was still massively filled from dinner and no my bf did not finish it all! Still fun to see him try though

The next day I went back to my normal eating habits of an awesome oatmeal breakfast 🙂 I can’t help myself

Great way to get back into my routine eating

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!
