Chocolate Banana Oats

The ingredients:

  • 40 grams of Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
  • One cup of water
  • Half a banana chopped into chunks
  • 3 grams of Cocoa Powder
  • 5 grams of flax
  • Splenda to Sweeten
  • 10 grams of walnuts
  • 20 grams of Kashi Go Lean Toasted Berry Crumble

Boil the oats and water

I usually start it off high and as it’s starting to boil i’ll put it on medium. While it’s starting to simmer I add the flax, cocoa, splenda and banana.

I toasted the walnuts in the microwave (tip by Kath) and added the cereal topping

Pour on tops of oats and you get the final product

Perfect Oats

I use to cook up my oats in the microwave but stove top is really no more time consuming and definitely worth a little extra effort. Creamy oats every time 😉
