Weekend Recap

Hi there!! Hope you all had a great weekend. I know I did, although I would have been happier had the Miami Heat actually won last night https://i0.wp.com/i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn245/marie01_08/Smileys%20and%20Stuff/AnimatedSadSmiley-1.gif Oh well can’t win them all…

Friday night I went out with my girlfriends to watch

https://i0.wp.com/www.flicksandbits.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/the-hangover-part-2-banner-image1.jpgOverall is was funny but definitely not as good as part 1. I thought they were trying too hard to make it like the original.

After the movie, me and the girls went to our usual hangout spot (Denny’s!!!) to have some late night munching. There’s a pretty good chance on any given Friday or Saturday night that you’ll find me at Denny’s after midnight. Usually polishing off one of these…

When I say I can finish off an entire Oreo sundae, I mean it people Winking smile

Saturday morning I was up early at 8am to hit up Zumba and get my dance on. I love when exercising doesn’t feel like working out. It was a lot of fun but I was ready for breakfast when I got home.

I had some cereal Surprised smile Don’t get me wrong, I love my oats but it’s just way too hot!! And to be honest I’ve gotten lazy in making them lol

Cinnamon Burst Cheerios with sliced strawberries, yogurt, cottage cheese, 1/2 nanner somewhere in there and topped with milk New obsession? You betcha!

Saturday night I went bowling with my friends and my skills were lacking to say the least. A lot of gutter balls and failed attempts. Still fun to get out of the house and do something different.

Well there you have it peeps! My weekend recap Smile

Have you seen The Hangover 2? Love it/hate it? Sequels are hardly ever better than the original

Not yet, but it’s on my list. I appreciate a good laugh.

Even on the hottest days of summer, I still like my hot oats.

I thought it was only about 1/4 as funny as the first!

My hubby loves the first hangover, and he wants to see the second but I have heard that the second is not as funny, so I think he is going to wait till it comes out on dvd to rent. Movies are so expensive now, so we try to pick and choose!! Sorry to hear about your heat!!

I haven’t seen any movies lately! I need to get to the movie theater!

And apparently the bowling alley! Sounds like a really fun weekend!

Looks like a fun weekend 🙂 I polished off a huge sundae too, proud of it! 😀
I haven’t seen it yet but really want to…although I always think that sequels never live up to the original, I think I’ll still get some belly laughs!

I’m definitely gonna try that cereal combo… I’ll do anything to make cereal more filling! 🙂 Lately I’ve been adding nut butter to cereal, and it helps a bit.

Glad you had a fun weekend!

I saw Hangover 2 and had the same thoughts as you. It wasn’t as good as the first.. but I found myself laughing a lot. For a sequal.. it was pretty good though.

I think I’m going to wait till the Hangover 2 comes out on DVD. I’ve heard so many reviews saying it wasn’t that great. I loved the first one though so I may find the 2nd one good!

I totally feel you on the bowling thing. I’m horrible at any sport that involves kicking, throwing, or rolling a ball!

I didn’t think Hangover II was great either — honestly it was too raunchy for me, but maybe I’m just an old lady now. 🙂 I saw it in Vegas last weekend, so that was the fun part! Glad you had a fun weekend!

I haven’t seen the sequel and I’ll probably just wait until it comes out on DVD. With a few exceptions, I definitely agree that the originals are usually the best. And that sundae… GAH! girl, stop making me drool ’cause now I gotta bust out the Kleenex.

I’ve heard that the Hangover part II wasn’t that good, but for some reason, I do still want to see it. Maybe just on cheap night or something! HAHA Please don’t even talk to me about ice-cream – I dominate it ALL the time! lol

I saw The Hangover Part II over the weekend too! I thought it was OK, but like you said, trying too hard. I actually thought the original tried too hard to be funny too and went a bit over the top…but then I have to remind myself that it is a silly comedy after all. 🙂

I’ve actually yet to see the Hangover II, but have heard mixed things about the movie. Most everyone has said that it’s not as good as the first, but that’s a pretty tough movie to compete with! Looks like that was a delicious Oreo sundae. 🙂

That cereal looks tremendous. I’m thinkin of mixing some Banana Nut Cherrios,Cinnamon Burst Cherrios and Chocolate Cherrios together and having a legit party for breakfast.

And it is not humanly possible to not finish an Oreo sundae…thats a crime. 🙂

Loving the cereal… I’m finding it a bit too hot for oats sometimes here in the UK (but only sometimes, its been raining solidly for the last week haha). And oreo sundae? ermm… yum. Nuff said 🙂

I definitely thought they were trying too hard to make it better than the first. Some parts in the movie seemed so strained to be funny that I just didn’t find them funny anymore lol. It was ok, but nowhere near the first one!

I haven’t seen hangover 1 or 2 and I really want to! I love ridiculous movies like that and Bradley Cooper is pretty easy on the eyes 🙂

You should do overnight oats or your yummy cookie dough cold oats, not to much prep at all! 🙂

Hope you have a great week! 🙂

I saw the Hangover II as well and felt the same…just eh. Some really funny parts but not as good as the first. When I first saw your cereal I was thinking that looks so weird! But then I realized you weren’t eating it with milk!! There aren’t really any Denny’s around here but now I have a hankering for a sundae!

The general consensus seems to be that Hangover 2 is not as good, darn! I agree that it is WAY too hot for oats. I’ve been on an overnight oat kick for months now and every time I make hot oats I’m annoyed by how long they take compared to the cold version. Oh and fact: my boyfriend is a bowler. Like bowls in a league and has bowled a perfect game before. It makes me NEVER want to bowl with him because he tries to coach me!
