Doing My First WIAW

I decided to jump on the bandwagon for today and do a WIAW thanks to the lovely Jenn over at Peas and Crayons 🙂

Peas and CrayonsThese aren’t all eats from today but they don’t have to be 😉

For today’s breakfast I had some inspiration from the fabulous Katie and made her Berry Chocolate Chia Pudding Bowl!

I made the mixture overnight and woke up to this

Chia Pudding 🙂

Wow this breakfast did not disappoint!

I can never let a bowl of oats go naked so naturally I added some toppings 😀

Topped with cinnamon raisin pb and Back to Nature Cranberry Pecan Granola. Katie knows how to do breakfast 😉

Today was a workout day so I hit the weights hard

  • Deadlifts
  • Arnold Presses
  • Cable Crunches
  • Leg Raises

I start my new workout on Monday so I’ll post it up then 😀

For lunch I had a ham and cheese wrap with a pickle 🙂

Can you believe I never liked pickles? Back in my McDonalds day I would order a cheeseburger sans pickle. Now I love em. Go figure. It’s the boyfriend’s fault 😉

Dinner was a Chicken Kitchen inspired dish

Grilled chopped chicken over a bed of yellow rice with lettuce and chopped tomatoes. On the side was a dipping sauce made up of olive oil mayo with mustard and curry to add an authentic look  😉 So simple and easy but omg amazing! I can’t take credit for this dish, all the bf’s idea 😀

    All your eats looks great! I tried Katies Berry Chocolate Chia Pudding Bowl this morning for the first time! What a coincidence!

    I’ve been wanting to do a “What I ate Wednesday”, but always forget! Maybe I can remember for next Wednesday. 🙂

    I get so excited when I get a pickle on the side of my sammy. that = a good day.

    I STILL need to do a WIAW! My food’s not pretty enough. I think that’s why I typically opt out.

    Pickles are a NAY! My tastebuds have never cared for them. The Chia Pudding on the other hand looks amazeballs, I’ve seen it all over the internets but have yet to try it!

    Pickles are a definite YAY! But only by themselves! I can’t stand them in dishes because I think their flavor overpowers everything else!

    Your breakfast sounds amazing! And I agree- there’s no way you can let a bowl of oats go naked. 🙂 Pickles are usually a nay for me. I honestly can’t stand them. Although, on the very rare occasion, I am okay with the bread and butter type.

    bahahaha when my hubs was my bf he used to request chicken kitchens chop chop salad for his dinners… and i had to make it up for him — so funny that you and your bf do the same thing! ❤ soooo yummy too! the photos are gorgeous — you did a fabulous job for your first WIAW! whoohoo!!!!!

    Wow, that chia seed pudding looks SO good! And fabulous toppings too!

    I’ve always been ok with pickles, but they were never a favorite. I’ll order them on a sub sometimes just to up the veggie content, but in general I think they’re a little salty/sour for my tastes.

    LOVE the super voluminous bowl!! That’s exactly how I love my meals, too. As for pickles, I love them..but only the sugar-free bread and butter spears. They’re sooo good!!
