TGIF!!

dancing stick figures
Hope everyone is partying it up because it is Friday!! 😀 I just wanted to say thank you for all the positive feedback I got from my last post. It’s nice to know I’m not the only indecisive one out there. It’s such a terrible trait that I have which I’m definitely trying to work on everyday. You guys are such an inspiration, love you all! 😀

In case you wondering the recipe for my cheesecake froyo I posted it here (let me know if you make it!)

I started off the day with a fantastic workout consisting of:

  • Leg presses: 5 reps with 220 lbs
  • Push ups: 15
  • Step ups: 8 reps with 20 lb dumbbells in each hand
  • Lat pulldowns
  • Hyperextensions
  • Cable Crunches
  • Wood Choppers

I love my weight lifting days, gives me so much energy throughout the day.

After I got my muscles pumping I was ready to give them some major fuel 😉

Breakfast was as follows:

Chocolate Nanner Oats

I made them stove top today 😉

In the mix: 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, cocoa powder, cinnamon, 9g chia seeds,1/4 nanner

Topped with: 1/4 nanner, peanuts, cinnamon raisin pb, apricot jam, and organic bunny graham crackers!!

As soon as I saw these I knew they had to be in my possession. They were so yummy! And only 130 calories for 30 grams. Perfect finish to my oats 🙂

Lunch was a simple but delicious Egg McMuffin 😉 Watch out McDonalds!!

Bam!!

If you were wondering about the title of my post it was because of these oats that I made the other day

My fabulous pumpkin pie oats

Mmmm yummm 😀

Battle of the oats!

  • Which do you prefer? Pumpkin oats or Banana?

(Nanners will always be my number 1 choice ;))

I have never tried pumpkin oats. I’m still forever yoked to my banana oats! Maybe I can cheat and sneak a little pumpkin in there sometime. 🙂

Of the two, I’d have to choose banana, but I’m a sucker for oats with chocolate and berries in them!

Your oats always look delish. I can’t eat a whole bowl of oats, idk what it is, I always crave something salty after. I could definitely take a few tips from you, though!

I don’t know why, but I haven’t made pumpkin oats in forever! Since I’m out of bananas right now, I think that will be changing in the NEAR future!

And I’m right there with you on the indecisiveness. If I’m shopping and can’t make up my mind about something, I usually give up and buy them both! Haha!

I like both types. I feel like banana oats are more versatile and you can combine it with more flavors. I still love my pumpkin though! Actually they’re reallly good when you have pumpkin banana oats.

I love pumking oats! If I want something more suttle sweet, then I go with pumpkin. If I want something that’s a little more sweet, then I go with banana. 🙂

WHOA GIRL! That work out? You are fit!

But I can’t stomach eggs – in cookies? Sure. French toast? Pushing it. But in recognizable egg form? YECH. Maybe I got an overload back when my parents used to make me eat two fried eggs a day, because they thought that vegetarian = will get kwashikor (spelling?) if not force-fed eggs 😛

Thank goodness nut butters, yogurt, beans, tempeh, and tofu taste waaaaay better 🙂 Gotta love that chobani…
