Happy National PB Day!!
It’s official we have a holiday My favorite nut butter finally has its own day of celebration. Too bad I had no idea until like 30 minutes ago and have not yet eaten any PB!!! How shameful of me
Either way breakfast was satisfying and delicious even without pb 😉
My little bowl of chocolately delight was amazing! Made some nanner chocolate oats with flax, then topped it with walnuts, chocolate graham crackers, and a spoonful of almond butter. It hit the spot, or better yet every spot in my tummy 😀
Today’s workout was great. I did leg press (220 lbs), then bench press (no improvement), lunges (50 lbs), and lat pulldowns (85 lbs). Every muscle in my body was aching and I felt fantastic. Other than for my bench press everything else was an improvement. I will never be a slave to cardio again. Weight training has given me more confidence in my body knowing I am stronger and leaner. Great feeling for when you get a case of the Mondays 😉
PWO was a regular sammie with turkey breast and cheese. I had to shove it down because I had to go to my ENT appt for a follow up. I had some surgery done to help me breathe better. I was a slave to Afrin (not pretty).
When I got home it was going to be snack time!
I was pretty hungry when I got home so I whipped up a little something. Just some Fage with splenda mixed in with Kashi, vanilla wafers, and a spoonful of Walden Farms Caramel dip. Definitely filling for a little treat.
Going to savor my pb later on with some cottage cheese and yogurt.
