3 Bean Chili

This was my first attempt at making chili and it was pretty good I gotta say. It was really filling, and the whole pot came out to about 950 calories.

The Ingredients:

  • Can of Goya Black Beans
  • Can of Pinto Beans
  • Can of Chili Beans
  • 1T Cumin
  • 1T Paprika
  • 2T Chili powder
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped Green Pepper
  • Minced garlic

Heat stove to medium high. When it’s hot enough add the 3 cans of beans. Stir to combine and add the spices.

Now add the veggies

Keep stirring so as to keep the beans from clumping. Simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes. When the beans are hot and ready to go, serve up in a bowl and add a slice of toast or your favorite tortilla chips :)

    Sounds good! I bet it would be even better with onions and tomatoes…you know, give it a little more oomph! ;)
