Battle Of The Oats
In case you wondering the recipe for my cheesecake froyo I posted it here (let me know if you make it!)
I started off the day with a fantastic workout consisting of:
- Leg presses: 5 reps with 220 lbs
- Push ups: 15
- Step ups: 8 reps with 20 lb dumbbells in each hand
- Lat pulldowns
- Cable Crunches
- Wood Choppers
I love my weight lifting days, gives me so much energy throughout the day.
After I got my muscles pumping I was ready to give them some major fuel
Breakfast was as follows:
I made them stove top today
In the mix: 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, cocoa powder, cinnamon, 9g chia seeds,1/4 nanner
Topped with: 1/4 nanner, peanuts, cinnamon raisin pb, apricot jam, and organic bunny graham crackers!!
As soon as I saw these I knew they had to be in my possession. They were so yummy! And only 130 calories for 30 grams. Perfect finish to my oats
Lunch was a simple but delicious Egg McMuffin Watch out McDonalds!!
If you were wondering about the title of my post it was because of these oats that I made the other day
My fabulous pumpkin pie oats
Battle of the oats!
- Which do you prefer? Pumpkin oats or Banana?
(Nanners will always be my number 1 choice ;))
